India-ASEAN Dynamics in the Emerging Indo-Pacific Order: Pathways to Cooperation beyond the Third Decade

Date: 2 June 2023 (Friday)
Time: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Venue: Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar Hotel

This conference aims to create opportunities for policymakers, scholars and researchers from India, Malaysia, and ASEAN to meet one another to discuss and put forward recommendations for promoting India-ASEAN relations in general, and their strategic, economic, and developmental partnerships in the emerging Indo-Pacific order, in particular. Moreover, it is to seek avenues for greater synergies between policymakers and the academic community on issues concerning India’s Act East policy – India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship foreign policy initiative - launched in 2014 to boost ties with ASEAN and the wider Indo-Pacific region.
