Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jatswan Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of International and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and currently, Executive Director of the Asia-Europe Institute (AEI), Universiti Malaya. He is also the Director of Centre for ASEAN Regionalism Universiti Malaya (CARUM). Prior to this, he was Head of Department, International and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences from 01/09/2007 to 31/08/2009. Dr. Jatswan's areas of expertise are conflict resolution, strategic studies, foreign policy, comparative politics (contemporary Southeast Asia) and international relations (international organizations, international security, transnational actors, human rights).
