To become a policy research institution of international significance - a specifically Malaysian project that is an asset for the Malaysian government, and a signature initiative for the Universiti Malaya.

CARUM seeks to strategically build networks and partnerships and advance collaborations with researchers on the topic of ASEAN Regionalism within ASEAN and other regions.
