On Tuesday, 11 February 2020, the Asia-Europe Institute (AEI), University of Malaya was visited by the Ambassador of The Republic of Croatia to Malaysia, His Excellency Dr. Ivan Velimir Starčević together with Ms. Tamara Crnjac, Deputy Head of Mission/Third Secretary. Both of them were welcomed by the Acting Executive Director of AEI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jatswan Singh and Deputy Director (Research & Internationalisation), Prof. Dr. Low Wah Yun, for a short meeting. During the meeting, both parties have exchange views and ideas on promoting the European Union (EU) and its agenda among the students of the University of Malaya. The key agendas that were deemed central to the EU were ageing, connectivity, migration and role of EU at the international level. At the end of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jatswan Singh exchanged gift with the Ambassador of The Republic of Croatia to Malaysia, H.E. Dr. Ivan.
